Extra Workout: October 24th, 2010

First Extra Workout for the class!  Expected to finish in 1.5 hours; but took about 2 hours.   Future workouts will be less intense (will be aiming for the 1 hour mark).   High cost on this as the Saturday class was quite a bit more intense.  Injuries followed.   Yes, this is the same one that I had used for Prep for the Toughen UP.

Yup, this is an example of what we did for one of our class.  Just to give you an idea what Toughen UP is all about.

There is always 1 hour of CARDIO and/or CORE and 1 hour of STRENGTH TRAINING.   The order varies, and is never the same.

Workout: Living Hell Scenario - August 17th, 2010

This was the most extreme workout that I had every done.  I think Corette out did herself when I had asked her to help with my workout.  I had hit a point, a plateau in my Bigger Loser class and needed something with more intensity.   This is what she created.   Yes, this almost broke me...   It took us a little over 2 hours to do..

Prep Workout #1 - September 6th, 2010

A modified version of the 'Dirty 30' from my first session of Bigger Loser. Credit for this goes to Brittany U.  This is one of the three exercises we used to get prep for the "Toughen UP" class starting September 14, 2010 at Servus Place.  We had no idea what we were in for, so we made these exercises based on what we had heard from the trainers.   Were we close?

Prep Workout #2 - September 8th, 2010

Second of three workouts for this week.  Took about 2 hours to complete this...  a bit more cardio than the others.  From what I gather for the upcoming class; there will be less of this.  It's a good mixture.

Prep Workout #3 - September 10th, 2010

Third of three workouts for this week.   Thanks for those who came out this evening, especially on a Friday night.  Took about 1.5 hours to do this one.   We should be all ready for next Tuesday's class.  Let the fun begin...
